Lost in Interpretation (?)
To remove further biases on the project regarding interpretation I had the idea to test it out with AI to remove myself from the making process. After some research I went with a site called 'starryai' since they seemed to actually generate images rather than match existing images to the text I put in, which I was having an issue with from other sites. I went for the setup that is used for product renders (model Argo) as that would be appropriate to create structures and details based on the descriptions.
The process went as follows:
Generate AI pieces by description from someone of an actual object without knowing what it is. Then get them to rate how close it is to the actual object that is described from 0 to 10. Lowest being not accurate, and highest being accurate.
Rule - Describe an existing object or thing, not a scenery as there would be too many elements (as it would include multiple nouns) that would already divert from the truth. But no restriction in terms of the size of the thing that is described. No nouns to avoid misleading it to a different truth or giving an answer without actually interpreting it's actual features.
I generated each description 5 times with 4 pieces being created each time for consistency, as that is how many times I generated the prompts while determining which AI was appropriate to use along with different sites.
Description of an object:
The object is black. The front part of the top half is shiny, metallic, with holes, forming a mesh, while the rest of the top half is a narrowing cuboid. The bottom half consists of a rotating arm, and the ends are skinny. The last component is red, and wraps around the entire object.

A 3D tall and hard rounded cylinder connected to a curved rectangle. Sharp corners. Smooth, shiny, metallic texture with a spotted pattern. Different tones of red depending on where the light hits it, but its bright red with tones of dark red. A silver tube with black spots also shiny.
